Florida has a total population of 19,161,683. Out of this population 4,357,055 or 22.7% are over the age of 60.

The breakdowns are:
   race and ethnicity (60+):
   White Non-Hispanic make of 3,447,613 at 79.1%, Black 350,330 at 8.0%, total Hispanic 527,029    at 12.1%, total Minorities 909,442 at 20.9%.

   Gender (60+):
   Male 1,934,333 at 44.4%, Female 2,422,722 at 55.6%%.

   Financial Status (60+):
   Below Povery Level 404,689, Minorities Below Poverty Level 191,969.

   Disability Status (65+):
   Two or More Disabilities 262,581, No Disabilities 3,030,859,    Probable Alzheimer's Cases 501,480.

   Medically Underserved (65+):
   In Medically Underserved Area 152,558, Designated Low Income Medically Underserved 543,194.

   Population Projection:
   Florida's Estimated Population for 2010 will be 19,974,200 and for 2015 is 21,831,500.
