Why giving to the Alliance for Aging is so rewarding

READ: See what others say about our work:

My father, John Gabor, is a WWII Veteran and we agree that without the assistance of the Veterans Administration, Miami Dade County, Dept. of Human Services Division, Alliance for Aging, Inc. and Florida Department of Elder Affairs / Consumer Directed Care Plus (CDC), his living arrangement today would not be the same. He would not be living at home. My father is a wonderful man and loves life at the age of 91. He knows the meaning of being grateful after surviving WWII with injuries. From my viewpoint, it has been a blessing to have the ability to make choices with his care and work with so many wonderful people in these organizations.

I would like to thank everyone involved in making these last memories for my father those of comfort and familiarity as he steps into one of the bravest roles of his life, living with dementia.

Sincerely

Donna (Gabor) Questas
(daughter of a very brave veteran)

Dear Dorea, Amaryllis & Staff

For everything, you’ve done…
for being the special people that you are…
thank you so very much.

My family and I want to express our gratitude for the time, the sincere compassion, and hard work that you, Dora, and the staff put into my situation with my Dad, Joseph Cordero.

Thanks so much,
Alma Espinso, Lionel and Joe
