NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD CONTRACTS
ARISING OUT OF 2009 OLDER AMERICANS ACT RFP

This constitutes notice by the Alliance for Aging, Inc. (the "Alliance") of its intent to
award contracts arising out of the 2009 Older American Act RFP (the "OAA RFP") in accordance
with the Proposed 2009 OAA Settlement Allocations attached to this notice as
Exhibit A.
On May 13, 2010, the Board of Directors of the Alliance voted to enter into a Settlement
Agreement with five entities that had appealed the Alliance's November 16, 2009 intended decision
to reject all proposals and begin the procurement process anew. The effect of the Settlement
Agreement is that the notice of intention to reject all proposals as posted on
November 16, 2009 has been withdrawn and replaced with the Proposed 2009
OAA RFP Settlement Allocations.
Any appeal of this intended award must be filed in accordance with Appendix X of the OAA RFP.
