The Alliance for Aging, Inc., the Area Agency on Aging for Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties, is delighted to announce the 2009 Positive Living Awards.
With nearly 500,000 people age 60 or older, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties are national examples of America’s future. Older Americans make tremendous differences in the quality of life in South Florida by “giving back” to their community. On November 19, 2009, the Alliance for Aging will honor individuals who are examples of Positive Living at the 3rd Annual Positive Living Awards Dinner at Jungle Island.
